I am writing the biography of a man named Charles Wilen, who was a man about town on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, Monte Carlo and in Paris from 1917-1968. His wife, the grandmother of a good
friend of mine, told her grandson, that Isadora died in the car (an Amilcar) owned and driven by Mister Wilen. I have traced the ownership of the vehicle through official records and find that the
owner of the ecar was a Nice private banker, not Mr. Wilen. Wilen's personal scrapbook, however, contains two pages devoted to Isadora, including an inscribed photo of Mr. Wilen as a soldier in the
US Army, stationed in Nice 1917-1919 during World War I, in the Dental Corps. The inscription says "From a Dreamer to a Dream." I am seeking any information about a personal acquaintance between
Isadora and Wilen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is Wilen's photo with an unidentified elderly woman on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice circa 1926. Please contact me at
